GO Personnel is currently hiring for Flagger -Traffic Controller


This is a temp-to-hire position. If you’re looking for a great company to work for and want to improve your life, then this is your opportunity.


We will hold classes to certify all candidates interested in working for our client.


Responsibilities:

- Direct traffic at construction sites to ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles and pedestrians.

- Communicate with drivers and pedestrians to provide directions or instructions.

- Monitor traffic flow and adjust traffic control measures as needed.

- Report any incidents or hazards to supervisors or appropriate authorities.

- Maintain a safe work environment for yourself, coworkers, and the public.

Experience:

- Previous experience as a traffic controller is preferred but not required.

- Previous outside work is a plus.

- Familiarity with traffic control devices and procedures is a plus.

- Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods of time.

Professional Utility Engineer (PE)

We are searching for a Professional Utility Engineer to support our Plan and Profile Operations in Centennial, Colorado.


Temp-to-Perm Opportunity: This is a temp-to-perm position, meaning you’ll start with GO Personnel as part of a working interview, and if it’s a great fit, you'll transition to working directly with our client!


Role Overview:

The Professional Utility Engineer will assist our Plan and Profile operations with SUE plans. A Professional Engineer (PE License is required). We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, adaptable, a strong problem solver, and an expert in time management with a keen focus on details and deadlines.


Work Hours & Pay Information:

  • Fulltime salaried position
  • Shift: 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Pay: $120,000 to $150,000 annual salary, depending on experience (Weekly pay)

Expectations:

  • Review or stamp 23 jobs per day
  • Work through priority lists, addressing rush jobs first, then older jobs
  • Ensure jobs sit in review for less than one week before PE comments are sent back to the CAD designer
  • Notate and help determine any template change/update needs
  • Obtain a clear understanding of ASCE 38 standards
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and identify project goals, timelines, and resource requirements for SUE operations
  • Oversee the maintenance of SUE project logs and documentation files
  • Provide technical direction to all field locator staff, responsible for creating and implementing all SUE procedures
  • Provide project management services and coordinate bid processes for specific projects as assigned
  • Attend meetings, provide written or oral reports on progress, and be the main SUE resource
  • Perform other related duties as required


Educational & Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of tangible experience in utility construction
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Experience with ASCE standard governance of Subsurface Utility Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Ability to organize and handle multiple project assignments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
  • State registered Professional Engineer (PE Required)

Your Role:

Traffic Control Mastery: Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices according to guidelines.

Plan Implementation: Read and interpret plans and specifications, and bring them to life in the field.

Flagging Activities: Perform traffic control and flagging activities as needed.

Team Collaboration: Work as a team to present solutions and ensure safety.

Safety Design: Design and implement temporary traffic control plans to protect workers, motorists, and pedestrians.

Supervision: Oversee flaggers to ensure DOT requirements are met.


What You Bring:

Certification: Active ATSSA or CCA TCS certification is a must.

Fed Med DOT card required

Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.

Experience in construction or utility distribution is a plus, but not required.

Technical Skills: Ability to read standards and schematics.

License: Valid Driver’s license with a clean record to drive an F350 barricade truck.

Attention to Detail: Excellent analytical skills with high accuracy.

Planning: Ability to prioritize and plan work activities effectively.

What You'll Be Doing: As a Project Manager - Utility Designer, you'll be the go-to expert for new distribution and service designs for our customers' gas and electrical facilities. You'll deliver cost-effective designs and top-tier customer service while ensuring compliance with regulations and engineering standards. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, a strong problem solver, and an expert in time management with a keen focus on deadlines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between customers, construction teams, and utility providers
  • Design facilities for new and existing customers, adhering to construction standards
  • Interpret various types of construction drawings (one-lines, mechanical, plumbing, etc.) to determine job scopes
  • Manage and report on multiple projects from start to finish
  • Collaborate with area engineers, customers, and local division support to meet deadlines
  • Obtain permits and easements for facilities as per city, state, federal, and county regulations
  • Execute contracts and agreements in line with administrative instructions and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate actively with customers, vendors, and supervisors on all job aspects
  • Provide cost-effective estimates to customers using standardized documents
  • Schedule and attend on-site meetings with customers to determine site-specific requirements


Educational & Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in design, construction, or a related field preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of GIS or similar mapping software required
  • Previous utility design experience preferred
  • Experience with underground utilities preferred
  • Experience with SAP platform preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; maintain professionalism when interacting with all customers (internal/external)
  • Valid Driver’s License for the state where primary work functions are performed
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities effectively and efficiently
  • Comfortable and effective working in an environment with changing demands, delays, and unexpected situations

What You’ll Do:
